The Provide First Aid Course (HLTAID003) will give you the knowledge and skills that are required to provide First Aid responses. Life support and management of casualties in real life situations, including the home, workplace or within the community, until the arrival of the ambulance or other medical assistance.  Participants will learn how to use an Automated External Defibrillator, treat for Allergic reactions, etc.  The course  comprises both online pre-learning and face to face. Face to face component will be delivered with good hygiene and physical distancing measures in place. Course participants will be allocated to relevant time-slots upon registration. For example, CPR only 9:00 am to 9:15 am, Full First Aid 10:00 am to 10:40 am.

Course requirements:

·         Participants will be required to have a Unique Student Identifier Number.

·         Online pre-course component (this will be emailed to you by the trainer)

·         Practical component (face to face with trainer, maximum of 2 course participants at any one time; good hygiene and physical distancing advice must be adhered to throughout the duration of the session)

Cost:

CPR update—$70 (HLTAID001)

Provide First Aid—$160 (HLTAID003)

Provide an emergency first aid response in an education/care setting—$180 (HLTAID004)
