Learn the skills & knowledge for the safe operation of a tractor at this 1-day course delivered by All Skills Training and Wycheproof Community Resource Centre.
In this course you will learn about controls & instruments, coolant, fuel & lubrication systems, pre-start checks, pre-operational checks, SWL, correct use of safety prop ,hooking up & unhooking PTO, selecting, removing and fitting attachments, operating & relocating a tractor and post-operational checks.
There will also be a discussion on how to operate the tractor (particularly on hilly and uneven land), and the safe use of attachments.
Participants are required to be 18 years of age or older to attend this course.

This course is not nationally recognised, however it covers the proof of training requirements for employers as per the Victorian OHS Act 2004.
