Mt Wycheproof Mother’s Day Classic
It was an especially memorable Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) for Wycheproof in 2021.
More than 60 participants gathered bright and early, many of whom eager to walk or run alongside The Grainlander.
The heritage train was in town as part of its weekend silo art cruise.
Wycheproof Community Resource Centre’s Averyll Loft congratulated everyone who participated in the annual fun run, raising thousands of dollars for vital breast cancer research.
All proceeds from MDC registrations go the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Australia’s leading national body funding breast cancer research. Proceeds from local fundraising efforts such as the Mother’s Day raffle will go towards the work of the Wycheproof Cancer Support Group.
