Coronavirus Update

*LAST UPDATED AUGUST, 2020*

With the re-introduction of Stage 3 restrictions, Wycheproof Community Resource Centre has had to make some changes to its face-to-face operations and service provision.

From 11.59pm on Wednesday, August 5, Regional Victoria returned to Stage 3 “Stay at Home” restrictions.

That means there is again only be four reasons to be out:

  • Shopping for food and essential items

  • Care and care giving.

  • Daily exercise.

  • Work and study – if you can’t do it from home.

Otherwise, you need to stay home. Businesses have also returned to Stage 3 restrictions.

WCRC is open from 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday to provide essential services only, such as VicRoads and Centrelink. The Buloke Library Service is closed and we have postponed non-essential classes and activities. Sub-groups including the Men’s Shed, Op Shop and Art & Craft Shop have closed. If you need to visit our centre, please note you must be wearing a face covering.

Most importantly we must continue to follow the guidelines – keeping 1.5 metres between ourselves and others, practicing good hand hygiene, staying home if you feel unwell and getting tested if you are showing any symptoms.
