Lynda Rumbold (pitcured centre pre-Covid 19) is an experienced and supportive tutor who has been running very popular computer courses in Wycheproof for the last decade.

Experienced and supportive tutor Lynda Rumbold will guide you through the basics of navigating the internet, sending and receiving emails, cyber safety and the Microsoft Office suite over five evenings from Thursday, November 19.

There will be the option to delve more deeply into the features of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, including setting up and writing resumes.

There will be a strong focus on hands-on learning, with participants welcome to bring their own device or use one of the Centre’s laptops.

“This is perfect for someone who knows how to navigate a computer but is looking to develop more confidence and skills,” she said.

“However, complete beginners are also welcome – this is a 100% supportive environment.”

To cater to those who have work, study or other commitments during the day the course is being held from 6.30pm – 8.30pm at WCRC and is open to all ages.

Participants will receive a Statement of Attainment upon completing the course.
